Mario Montiel 

About Me

Mario Manuel Montiel was born in New Mexico, and raised in the very heart of it, in a small town called Belen. Mario went to Belen High school where he discovered his passion for performing in BHS Drama and Choir Departments. After Graduating high school he furthered his education at New Mexico state university where he is attaining his bachelors in theatre arts. He is the first person in his family to get a College Degree and pursue their passion. He is educated in musical theatre, theatre history, vocal production, stage movement, stage makeup, and much more acting/technical training. During his time at NMSU he achieved multiple awards/nominations in acting in both leading and supporting roles. On top of being a full time student, Manager, fraternity member, on his own time he studied Ballet with Borderlands Ballet Company and studied beginning level ballet, and partnering. He has been known for his role in the Nutcracker as Drosselmeyer, and continues to train in ballet, acting,modeling, vocal production, and much more.

Mario is a hard worker and a family man who is strong in his faith with God and the universe guiding him in everything he does. As a versatile actor Mario plays a wide range of roles including comedic leads like a dramatic love struck romantic to more darker and androgynous characters like Dracula. His goals are to use his professional mindset and versatile talents as a performer on Broadway and or film.
